Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What kinds of courses do you offer?
We offer courses that cover two subjects: English Literature and English Language.
For English Literature we provide text-based courses. For example, you will be able to find courses on a particular play by Shakespeare, or a particular poet or novelist. The main Poetry Anthologies that students study with UK exam boards are also all covered. There are also contextual courses, where you can watch videos to learn about the history or culture of the time that your text was written, or understand more about the writers and their influences.
How much are courses?
Our aim is to make high quality education accessible to students of all ages, backgrounds and levels.
Full access to all our English courses costs just £30/month. We keep pricing as transparent as possible, so you know exactly what you are paying for. You can unsubscribe at any time, and there are no hidden catches or fees.
You can also purchase individual courses for £12 each.
How long does it take to complete a course?
The course lengths vary from 1-10 hours, depending on the level and complexity. You need to make your own notes from the courses, so you might want to pause them as you go. You can watch the course in your own time, you can also pause and rewind. Once you purchase the course you can rewatch it as many times as you like; it belongs to you forever.
In short, courses take as little or as long as you like - you can spend a long time going through everything in detail and download and work from the supplementary worksheets, or you can use them as revision and skip through at a faster pace. It depends on whether you are learning that course from scratch or you want to use it as a revision aid to supplement your classwork.
What if I can’t find a text I am studying?
We try to make as many courses as possible, and cover as many different texts as we can. If you are studying something that isn’t already available then please send us a message and we’ll see if we're able to make one for you.
